'Green nitrogen fertilizer is coming, but it takes time'

7 November 2022 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 2 comments

Fertilizer producer Yara is working hard to produce green nitrogen fertilizer. Only green electricity is used for production and hydrogen replaces the use of natural gas.

Peter Arkenbout of Yara explains how this fertilizer is produced and why it will take some time before the green nitrogen becomes available on the market on a large scale. In addition, in this video he discusses the current situation on the fertilizer market and how prices are moving.
