'Changing the dairy sector with sustainable cheese'

De Fryske in Lemmer, a maker of sustainable and bird-friendly cheeses, is being restructured into a cooperative. Both farmers and citizens can participate in this. According to Catharinus Wierda, initiator of the Fryske, the intended investment amount is €750.000 desired to grow in the market share of sustainable cheese. He wants to make more impact to change the dairy sector. We discuss the plans and ambitions with Wierda.

Another short-term initiative, I put it under the heading of "catching each other's flies" every dairy farmer is busy putting a good product on the market in his or her own way, not everything farmers do is under a title to bring attention.
But I don't think it's a good idea to say "buy my cheese because I take good care of the birds"
We are all working on raising dairy farming to a higher level, each in his own way, some more than others, but with respect for everyone's product
