Rain causes problems for European wheat

The weather is one of the trendsetters on the wheat market. There is a lot of talk about the rain on the southern prairies in the US, which is helping winter wheat there to get off to a good start. In northwest Europe, precipitation causes problems. Sowing is delayed and water damage is no exception on plots that are in the ground.
