Weather reports have little influence on the wheat market

Prices on both the Matif and CBoT were under pressure last week. However, the weather does give some cause for concern. Here in Europe it is the persistent rain that causes problems, even before the growing season has properly started. In Australia, where the wheat harvest is approaching, it is much too dry.
