A staggering 40% more Dutch wheat will be sown for the 2026 harvest. Koopmans won the Agribusiness Award this year for their chain project of sustainably grown baking wheat in the Netherlands. In this video, we speak with Dirk Lodewijk, CEO of Royal Koopmans. He discusses the benefits of the award, the rapid expansion of their acreage, and why it's attractive for growers to cultivate Dutch wheat at a time when wheat prices are below €200 per ton. Registration for the Agribusiness Award is open until December 1st. This gives agricultural entrepreneurs the opportunity to further highlight their own innovative product or service.
