Rabobank: 'Making things more sustainable makes companies stronger'

16 March 2026 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 2 comments

Rabobank does not want to take the entrepreneur's place, but does believe that the sector needs to become more sustainable. "Companies that are capable of doing this well will emerge strongest in ten or fifteen years," argues Food & Agri Director Alex Datema. The bank is presenting its new Agrofood Vision 2040 today. In the studio of Boerenbusiness Datema also discusses the role of the new cabinet and the current weak financial position in a number of sectors with presenter Linda van Eekeres.

Don't let banks and the like fool you. Take the money when it suits you and make your own plan.
